​General objective: To improve the efficiency of the engineering offices and companies, increase the competitiveness among them for the advancement of the engineering profession and the outputs of the engineering work, and classify and qualify the same according to the engineering activities that they practice in accordance with the size of their engineering works and personnel.

·Initiatives of Engineering Classification and Qualification Department:
Prepare and formulating tasks and objectives, establishing regulations and procedures and completing the staff (3 months).
Launching an electronic system and platform containing all the evidence and information of the classified engineering offices and companies (8 months).
Establishing specialized committees concerned with the issuance of classification certificates.
Holding some specialized workshops with the aim of developing and improving the quality of engineering work in the engineering offices and companies, and increasing the competitiveness among them, such as the workshop of Engineering Fees and the workshop of Drawings Auditing (6 months).
