Information Technology


Vision:
Providing secure electronic environment in order to achieve SCE objectives.

Mission:
Setting up electronic environment throughout utilizing recent technology based on strong infrastructure for information technology in addition to having specialized human resources aiming at achieving SCE and Engineers aspirations while at the same time saving time, reducing costs and assisting SCE Departments in achieving their goals effectively.

Periodical tasks of the Department:
•Developing and maintaining applications that better serve SCE.
•Electronic linkage with concerned external bodies in order to serve different units inside SCE such as (payment system – national information center – social insurance – labor office – Ministry of civil service).
•Preparing operational plans and developing programs to manage and supervise information technology Department according to SCE vision and plans.
•Solving problems and obstacles facing SCE electronic systems, PCs or networks and providing technical support for SCE employees.
•Designing and supervising net linkage among SCE branches.
•Determining administration units’ needs and submitting proposals and specifications of PCs and their operating systems and software.
•Providing internet services and all other related services.
•Setting future plans to attract human resources and selecting suitable training programs for IT Department employees.
•Setting annual budget and determining Departments PCs and applications needs and following its procurement process after obtaining necessary approvals.

IT Department Objectives:
•Completion of paper work at each Department.
•Completion of payment transactions.
•Developing networks and servers infrastructure.
•Enhancing means of communications with engineers.
•Maintaining systems and servers that are always on.
•Creating positive attitude towards registration process in each of SCE events.
•Providing professional technical support for members and employees.
•Contributing in increasing level of performance in all departments.
•Developing level of service at Communication service center.
•Reducing costs.
