The Saudi Council of Engineers has worked on a live broadcast to provide a series of "engineers online" meetings. It has reached 20 meetings and it is still continuing, through its account on "Twitter", to broadcast training sessions and cognitive content that covers various engineering topics.
The SCE spokesman eng. Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatef declared that the council has broadcasted 36 hours of training which resulted in benefitting over 140 thousand engineers. He added that the content of the meetings took into consideration the diversity of the beneficiary groups of the council's members and those who are interested in engineering.
He mentioned that most of the lectures were about the safe use of the information technology systems, modeling the building information, the Saudi building code, and the financial management of projects. he added that the lectures were given by specialists, engineers, and PhD holders.
Al-Abdullatef mentioned that the council is keen to enrich its members through different platforms as a contribution to improve the members' experiences and to increase their knowledge. He pointed that the diversity of the content takes into consideration the different needs, updates and discusses the current issues such as what happened with the provision of the strategic plan and the role of the fourth industrial revolution in coping with the coronavirus crisis and other issues.
