HRH Prince Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Mashari Al-Saud, Executive Director of the National Center for Measurement and Excellences (NCME) belonged to the Public Education Evaluation Commission and acting Secretary General of the Saudi Council of Engineers Abdullatif Al Harkan signed Monday Rajab 23, 1439 AH a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for holding preparation for tests of the professional engineer's license to create and prepare professional measurements and tests for the professional qualification of engineers to the degree of a professional engineer for some engineering specialties at the headquarters of the center in Riyadh.
Al Harkan said that the agreement include preparation for the test of professional engineer, which is set to upgrade the profession and put criteria for tests and professional degrees as the key duties of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
The MoU also includes creating and preparing professional measurements and tests for professional qualification of Engineers to the degree of professional engineer in the following specialities: (Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering and Environmental Engineering, Power Engineering, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering, Refractories and Fluid Systems' Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture, Fire Protection Engineering).
This test is meant to complete the engineering foundation test, which was stated two years ago between the Council and the center for Engineers who wish to obtain the degree of professional Engineer.
