Abdulnasser Saif Al-Abdullatef was recently appointed secretary-general of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
He also held the position of general manager of public sector engineering services at the council.
Between 2014 and 2018, he was the SCE public relations and media manager, and also acted as its spokesperson.
Al-Abdullatef established the SCE communication and media center, and supervised engineering awareness campaigns.
He was project manager at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs between 2012 and 2014, and was also deputy project manager at King Saud University and architectural engineer at the Riyadh municipality.
Al-Abdullatef is a member of many government and private organizations as well as local and international committees. He is highly regarded for his skills in project management, business development, strategic planning, preparation of procedural guidelines and generation of key performance indicators.
He has taken part in conferences, seminars and forums, including the Gulf Conference in Value Engineering, the International Engineering Conference and Exhibition, and the Gulf Engineering Forum.
Al-Abdullatef is also a member of the Saudi Building Code national committee and executive committee, the Higher Committee for Supervising the Holy Sites Development Projects, and the Charitable Society for Engineering Services.
In 2007, he received a bachelor’s degree in architecture and building sciences from King Saud University in Riyadh.
