​SCE, in collaboration with the Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA), organized the "Facilities Management Essentials" course for beginners, engineers, developers, owners and operators. 19 engineers benefitted from the and received the Certified Facilities Manager certification after passing the test. The course, which was organized at SCE HQ in Riyadh, aims to introduce the importance of managing the physical assets of the facilities and their maintenance needs, understanding the types of maintenance programs, their systems and tools, the impact of maintenance and costs on the long-term value. This is in addition to developing the skills of staff in facilities management to identify technical partners and implement maintenance programs through partnerships with partners. SCE seeks to build knowledge bases by establishing such specialized courses, and enhancing the sources of information.
