LOOKING AT WAYS TO COOPERATE IN THE FIELD OF ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING ASSOCIATIONS IN THE KSA

​In the meeting held on the last Wednesday evening in Sheraton Dammam Hotel, the Saudi Council of Engineers' Secretary General, Dr. Hussein al-Fadhli has discussed with the representatives of the international engineering societies in the Kingdom, means of cooperation in the field of developing and training the Saudi engineer.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the SCE's Department of Training and Development, MR. Abdullah Turki and a number of representatives of Engineering Societies.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency, the SCE's Secretary General has stressed the importance of these meetings which aim at raising awareness and consciousness level through discussing means of cooperation between the engineering societies and the SCE in all activities which serve the engineering profession and engineers.

His Excellency Secretary-General also stressed that the SCE is fully ready to provide engineering societies with all available services in return for professional courses and lectures delivered by those societies through the SCE, raise the level of specialized courses provided by the SCE and provide the SCE with all the new specializations of engineering according to their respective fields.

 

Representatives of societies has welcomed this idea and intended to do everything serving the profession in order for raising the efficiency of the Saudi engineer.

At the end of the meeting, Secretary General of the Saudi Council of Engineers gave his thanks to representatives of engineering societies for their attendance and it has been agreed that similar meetings will be held every month to find out the latest developments in the field of training and development.
