The Saudi Council of Engineers has announced the launch of six new services accessible through the national "Tawakkalna" application, overseen by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). This initiative aims to enhance user convenience and streamline access to the Council's electronic services.

These services reflect the Council's commitment to enabling more effective access to its digital offerings and improving and advancing the engineering sector’s digital services across the Kingdom. The initiative aligns with the goals of digital transformation, which are integral to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.

The Tawakkalna application offers several services, including the Membership Inquiry Service, which allows beneficiaries to search for the names of affiliated engineers and those licensed to work in the Kingdom using their ID number, residence permit, or border number. The Engineering Offices Inquiry Service enables beneficiaries to inquire about licensed engineering companies and offices in the Kingdom by searching using their license number or office name.

The list of services also includes the Engineering Facilities Service, which provides information about engineering facilities, including details on their activities and addresses. Furthermore, the Integrated Contract Companies Service allows users to access information about approved companies, including their names, license numbers, expiry dates, headquarters, and nationalities.

Additionally, by sending relevant data and information about the offending entity, the Engineering Reports Service enables beneficiaries to submit reports about violating engineering offices or individuals who misuse their licenses for irregular activities. The Technical Experts Inquiry Service allows users to view a list of approved technical experts among the engineering members based on the standards and foundations of professional practice.
