Professional tests are divided into:
First: Basics test:
Which is divided into:
- FE Fundamentals of Engineering exam (for those who hold a bachelor's degree in one of the various engineering specializations)
- FS Surveying Basics Test (for those who hold a bachelor's degree in one of the various engineering specializations)
- Fundamentals of Architecture FA test (for those who hold a bachelor's degree in one of the various engineering specializations)
Second: Testing principles and practices:
Which is divided into:
- Principles and Practices of Engineering PE test (for those who have experience in one of the different engineering specializations)
- PS Surveying Practices and Testing (for those who have experience in one of the various surveying specializations)
- PA Architecture Practices and Testing (for those who have experience in one of the different architectural specialties)
Tests provided and approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers
First: Test of the Saudi Council of Engineers
The National Center for Measurement (Qiyas) currently provides two tests:
a) Engineering fundamentals test
This is for the following engineering specializations:
1. Electrical Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Civil Engineering
4. Chemical engineering
5. Industrial engineering
6. Other (for all other engineering specialities)
a) Architecture fundamentals test
Second: The test of National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES)
It provides the following tests through NCEES:
a) Test the basics of engineering and surveying
1. Electrical and computer engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Civil Engineering
4. Chemical engineering
5. Industrial and systems engineering
6. Environmental engineering
7. Other (for all other engineering specialties)
8. Survey basics test
b) Principles and practices of engineering and surveying
