Professional Examination
SCE provides two accredited
professional exams
First: American professional exams in cooperation with NCEES:
Available Exams:
- Fundamental of Engineering FE **
- Fundamental of Surveying FS
**
- Principal and Practice of Engineering PE
- Principal and Practice of Surveying PS **
** The (FE – FS - PS) exam is
available online throughout the year (online exam) at test centers in Dammam
and Riyadh.
Requirements
for attending (FE-FS) exam plus the
NCEES requirements
1.A valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
2.A valid ID
3.Pay 1500 SR - exam fees (there are additional fees required for NCEES)
4.Select the
desire exam discipline
The required steps to apply for attending the NCEES
exam:
- Apply for attending the test via the web page specified for
engineers on the SCE website
- Paying 1500 SR bill -The bill can be paid
via Sadad service (ATM/online banking)
- Register here (http://ncees.org/supplemental/launch-login/)
- Pay the NCEES bill (200 USD).
- Notify nceesexams@saudieng.sa when you pay the bill and add your
reference number for NCEES (xx-xxx-xx)
- The SCE will review the application
- The exam result will be made available on the MyNCEES website
after a week of taking the exam

Requirements for attending (PE-PS)
exam plus the NCEES requirements:
1.A valid membership in the Saudi
Council of Engineers (SCE)
2.A valid ID
3.The applicant must pass (FE) exam
first
4. Practical experience in the
same discipline not less than 4 years after graduation
5.Apply for attending the test
via the web page specified for engineers on the SCE website
6. Pay 2500 SR- test fees bill
will be issued
The required steps to apply for
attending the NCEES exam:
1.Apply for attending the exam
via the web page specified for engineers on the SCE website
2. A 2500 SR - bill will be issued
after validating the conditions.The bill can be paid via Sadad service
(ATM/online banking)
3. Notify nceesexams@saudieng.sa when you pay the bill and
add your reference number for NCEES (xx-xxx-xx)
4.Pay the NCEES bill ($350 for
PE, $325 for PS).
5.Again Notify nceesexams@saudieng.sa when you pay NCEES bill
and add your reference number for NCEES (xx-xxx-xx)
6.The SCE will review the
application and approve

Second: Saudi Council of Engineers exam in cooperation
with QIYAS

Engineering Exam FE:
A
comprehensive exam of the fundamentals of engineering. It aims at measuring the
efficiency and basic engineering knowledge of engineers who wish to obtain the
grade of Associate Engineer. This exam can also be taken by those who are about
to graduate, fresh graduates and employees who are working at the rank of
engineer. Exam is given in English language.
The engineers exam is conducted in two main parts as follows:
The FE exam consists of two parts:
1- General Engineering exam (Part one)
The number of questions in this
part is 90 questions for 3 hours. This part covers the general engineering
topics, which include the following:

discipline

This part covers the core areas

The number of questions in this part is 50 questions in each
discipline for 3 hours.
b.Architectural Engineering Exam FA:
The architectural engineering
exam is a comprehensive exam of the fundamentals of architectural engineering.
It aims at measuring the basic knowledge and skills necessary for the
architect. Exam is given in English language. Passing the exam is a prerequisite
for obtaining the degree of Associate Architect at the Saudi Council of
Engineers. The total number of exam questions is 100 questions for three hours.
